Keona Lodge is the result of the owners' lifelong love of the Sierra Nevada mountains and their taste in modern post and beam log architecture. This lodge is designed to comfortably house a couple of families at once. With nearly 3600 square feet of living space, there will be plenty of room to stretch out and relax. Add to that the 1400 square feet of decks and balconies and an expansive view of some of Yosemite's most picturesque landmarks, and you've got Yosemite's finest luxury estate. Located in Wawona, a small town of 300 people inside Yosemite National Park, the Lodge sits on an acre of mixed conifer forest with commanding views of the Wawona surroundings. Wawona Dome, Turner Ridge, and Chilnualna Falls highlight the spectacular vistas you will behold while you relax in the great room, on the deck, or on one of the private upstairs balconies. Wawona can be accessed via Highway 41 through the south entrance of the park. The town itself is completely surrounded by Yosemite National Park, but some of the land within is privately owned and deeded. Keona Lodge is located in an area of Wawona that is less dense, more private, and consists mainly of large parcels.

Privacy in Yosemite National Park is not easy to come by. The park is visited every year by millions of campers, tourists, and adventurers. Many of these people are naturally curious and want to explore as much of the park as possible. This can be rather annoying for people who live in more dense portions of Wawona. Parcel sizes in these areas average around a quarter acre, and the resulting traffic can create a lot of noise and unwanted distraction. Visitors will explore as much as they possibly can with their cars. Keona Lodge's parcel experiences almost no traffic because the Lodge's parcel as well as three other nearby parcels are serviced by a unpaved road. This makes park visitors and wanderers think twice before exploring our access road. This provides maximum privacy and a feeling of solitude that it unmatched in Wawona. Once Keona Lodge's parcel is reached, however, a paved driveway will guide you to your destination. Access to the Lodge is year round and plowed in winter, but be aware that winter conditions require that chains be carried at all times. Keona Lodge is meant to be a place that has something for everybody. Large spacious bedrooms, a gourmet kitchen, a spectacular great room with viewsgalore, and a fully equipped media room are just the beginning. If you're tired of hiking, swimming, and sightseeing, just stay at home and soak in the spa, hone your skills on the putting green, or challenge your family to a game of horseshoes.
